The Training Plan describes the approach, activities and tasks required by the organisation to ensure the necessary skills are attained to achieve the outcome of the project. It also outlines the timeline by which training will be delivered.
In this context, we look at the training plan to cover the end users of the product or service being developed. That is, for example, if a new system is being developed that will replace an older system, we must identify and manage the training required for users of the new system to confidently use it. We must ensure support teams understand how the product works so that they can confidently investigate issues when they arise.
